These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ZippyRoute's local delivery services, website and mobile applications (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, booking a delivery or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About us

ZippyRoute provides local delivery solutions for individuals, businesses and multi-drop operations across Bristol and surrounding areas, using a network of trusted local drivers. You can contact us at contact@zippyroute.co.uk.

2. Definitions

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Bookings and orders

When you place an Order you must provide accurate collection and delivery details, including addresses, contact information and any relevant instructions. A contract for a specific delivery is formed when we confirm your Order. You are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to hand over or receive Items at the agreed times, and that Items are appropriately packaged for transport.

5. Pricing and payment

Prices are based on factors such as distance, number of stops, item size and service level, and are shown or quoted before you confirm an Order. Payment is taken through our payment service providers; ZippyRoute does not store full payment-card details. You agree to pay all charges for Orders placed under your account. Additional charges may apply for waiting time, failed collections or deliveries, re-attempts, or changes made after an Order is confirmed.

6. Prohibited and restricted items

You must not send, and we may refuse to carry, any Items that are:

You are responsible for ensuring that Items comply with all applicable laws. We may open, refuse, return or dispose of Items that we reasonably believe breach these Terms, and you may remain liable for any charges, losses or penalties that result.

7. Collection and delivery

We aim to collect and deliver within the estimated windows provided, but delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing. Where a delivery cannot be completed (for example, no one is available to receive the Items, or access is not possible), we may attempt redelivery, return the Items, or hold them, and additional charges may apply. Proof of delivery may be recorded for each Order.

8. Your responsibilities

9. Cancellations, changes and refunds

You may cancel or change an Order before collection; charges may apply depending on how far the Order has progressed and any costs already incurred. Where an Order is not delivered due to our error, we will work with you to re-deliver or provide an appropriate refund. Refunds, where due, are made to the original payment method.

10. Liability

We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from information you provided that was inaccurate or incomplete. Our total liability in connection with an Order will not exceed the greater of the charges paid for that Order or any applicable protection amount we specify. You are responsible for arranging any additional insurance you require for high-value Items.

11. Acceptable use of the Service

You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service where these Terms are breached.

12. Intellectual property

The ZippyRoute name, logo, website, app and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the Service for its intended purpose but may not copy, modify or distribute our content without permission.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. By using the Service you acknowledge that we process personal information as described there.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
