ZippyRoute provides local delivery services through our website and mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you use ZippyRoute.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use ZippyRoute, we may collect:

• Account information: your name, email address, telephone number, password credentials and account identifiers.
• Delivery and address information: pickup and delivery addresses, location search results, contact names and telephone numbers for delivery recipients, delivery instructions, parcel details, and delivery status information.
• Location information: approximate or precise location when you choose to use location-based address search or navigation-related features. You can control location access through your device settings.
• Payment information: payment-related information needed to process an order. Payments are processed by our payment service providers; ZippyRoute does not store full payment-card details.
• Device and notification information: a device identifier, device model/platform information, push-notification token and notification preferences so that we can send delivery updates and service messages.
• Support and feedback information: messages, issue reports and other information you provide when contacting support or giving feedback.
• Technical, diagnostics and usage information: app performance, crash reports, session-replay/diagnostic data and related technical context used to identify and fix problems. Our error-monitoring provider may receive information such as IP address, device context and account context when an error or session is recorded.

Do not provide information about another person unless you are authorised to do so. When you submit recipient contact details or delivery addresses, you confirm that you have authority to provide them for the purpose of completing that delivery.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• create and manage your account and verify access to it;
• create, price, process and manage delivery orders;
• communicate delivery status, service notices and support responses;
• process payments and help prevent fraud or misuse;
• provide location-based address search and delivery functionality when enabled by you;
• improve app reliability, investigate crashes, resolve technical issues and protect the security of our services;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

3. When we share information

We may share relevant information with:

• Drivers and delivery participants, to the extent needed to collect and deliver an order, including pickup/delivery addresses, delivery instructions and relevant contact details.
• Payment processors, to process your payment securely.
• Cloud, notification, mapping/location, error-monitoring and other service providers, where they process information on our behalf to provide the app and its services.
• Authorities or professional advisers, where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users or the public.

We do not sell personal information or use the customer app to serve third-party advertising.

4. Data security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Information is transmitted using encrypted connections where supported by our services and providers.

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements, and protect against fraud or misuse. Retention periods vary by information type and legal obligation.

5. Your choices and rights

You can update certain account details in the app and manage location and notification permissions through your device settings. You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and any information we must retain for legal, payment, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes.

6. Children

ZippyRoute is a delivery and payment-enabled service intended for adults. It is not directed to children.
